🔧 Improved Fuel Filter: K&N PF-4000 Review

I wish Revain had a better description of what this filter is good for. Had to go to manufacturers website to confirm it would fit my 7.3 diesel engine.

Ideal replacement for the stock 7.3 stroke fuel filter. For those of you familiar with 7.3 fuel filters, the cap and filter are a one-piece design, so you can't reuse the cap like you can with Wix or Microguard. I am very impressed with the product which I will definitely order in the future.

The filter is NOT a canister filter as shown in the photo. This is a standard pleated cartridge with attached fleece filter and cap. The filter fits perfectly and seals on the first try, unlike most aftermarket filters that leak like crazy if not torqued to maximum torque. The filter cap does not have a hex or square ratchet hole, so you will need either a special Ford wrench, channellocks, or a filter strap wrench to tighten it. Kind of stupid.
