Unreliable safety tool for climbers

This product may seem promising for climbers, but safety is the number one priority in the Sports and Outdoors industry. Unfortunately, this aider comes up short in terms of reliability. Although it is sturdy, it doesn't hold up under heavy use and is prone to breaking. The lack of durability is a major concern for those relying on this tool during a rescue situation.

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Unreliable, not durable.

thin strap for climbing

While the basic idea works well, the webbing itself is narrow and flimsy. It's difficult to insert your foot into the loop and once inside it feels like stepping on a flimsy loop of rope and quickly injuring the leg. If someone is looking for something light and compact without expecting a comfortable and secure kick, this could be the way to go.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Dangerous! for climbing

I hate to leave negative reviews but this happened to me when I climbed into the deer stable in rubber boots as this is my second time using the product. I weigh 205 pounds. Thank god I was low to the ground when the step broke. I hope this helps someone not to make the same mistake. It could cost you your life. I have notified the company with no response or refund. I wish zero stars were an option.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic
