I bought this to slice meat for jerky. That's all I've used it for so far and it's great for that. I would 100% recommend it for light home use. Easily dismantled for cleaning. The suction power is really strong. You have to make an effort to move it.

For the price this is a very good slicer. I have used it for cheese and various meats. The blade is very easy to remove for cleaning, but other parts are more difficult to clean. It's well made, heavy and the suction cups on the legs secure it well to the granite countertop for stability.

Received, box opened, removed from boxes, tape removed from blade, block washed, dried, homemade bread sliced. At the maximum opening one would hope for a larger opening for bread and ham steaks. Otherwise, the width of the dropdown box looks and feels good. Works well for cold meat. I'll try to cut the cheese.

I know quality isn't factored in at this price point. I had a Quisinart slicer that I bought at a local store. I took it back I then ordered it. I received it and used it immediately. Very tidy. Easy to clean. The blade comes out easily. I cut the turkey very nicely. Great power for how little. also sliced Genoese salami. This is not a problem. Very good slicer for the money. Hope this lasts long.

Support is useless. You do not respond to YOUR email inquiry information system. They state 48-72 hours. I've been waiting for more than 10 days - no answer. Tried to call support. Stayed on the line - disconnected. IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO USE THE FOOD CUT, BUY SOMETHING ELSE. The part that broke after 5 minutes is poorly designed. waste of money! All I asked their service was how and where to buy a replacement part. They don't even answer.

The cutter is actually not bad. This took my roast, and by slicing it into thin slices I can now prepare tough meat in dishes other than slow cook roasts. get thinly sliced meat. When partially thawed, the meat usually won't be cut completely or cleanly. It definitely doesn't cut bones. I didn't expect it and I don't have to.
