Excellent Japanese Cutting Scissors!

I recently purchased a pair of Japanese cutting scissors and I must say, they are fantastic! According to my experience, these scissors are very sharp and precise, making them ideal for cutting fabrics and paper. They are also lightweight and comfortable to hold, so I can easily use them for long periods without any hand fatigue. The only drawback is that they are a bit expensive, but they are definitely worth the investment if you want top-quality cutting scissors.

Pros
  • Sharp and efficient
Cons
  • Require sharpening by a professional

Great tool for craft supplies

I have a thread cutter on my car. It's pretty nice. They feel balanced and cut cleanly. They just feel good in my hand. I bought two; one for my machine table and one for my travel bag that I take on retreats. Great product, great price and very good value for money.

Pros
  • Crafts, crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

I would buy them again (but don't think I ever will)

I embroider and sew a lot when I need to get into tiny places to cut a thread or two and they give me a lot more control than my traditional small sewing scissors. I expect them to be a lot easier to sharpen. They also look like good carbon steel, are solid in weight, and spring well. They're not very good for cutting more than a piece or two of fabric, but you can't beat them for perfect thread cutting and a piece or two of fabric.

Pros
  • Craft supplies
Cons
  • A little torn
