These are such great children's shoes that we immediately bought a second set. The sizing seems pretty accurate, but of course it's a good idea to order at least one size up, if not two. We ordered them two sizes up compared to our last order to get a little more life out of them. Used for 8 months and occasionally used for a 7 year old boy. He has average sized feet and they fit well and maybe even snug or "perfect". Not everything dangles like a big boot.
