After reading numerous sizing reviews I took the advice and went 2 sizes up for my 18 month old baby. They fit her in thick winter socks (she weighs 20 kilos, shoe size 3). She never cries from cold feet and even loves to walk around the house with them. Mobility doesn't seem to be an issue for my active walking, although these boots sit nice and high on the ankle. These shoes are absolutely pointless and have a terrible design. Last year we bought TUNDRA boots for all the kids and they were great. We didn't have the size we wanted so we bought this. The tongue supposedly goes OVER the boot and the Velcro strap secures it to the boot. This is not only almost impossible for a child, but also difficult for an adult as you have to align the tongue with the back half on each side.
