These boots are great because they keep you warm and dry. For these purposes they are perfect for our son. Dock with one star simply because I think they are very tight. I would say my son has medium wide feet and with a pair of thin socks they are very tight on the sides. However, as expected, the length is almost perfect. We're keeping them and hope they stretch a bit or he doesn't have to wear very thick socks ;) Overall the quality of the boots is top notch.

This rating is for size/fit only. It's still summer here, but I knew I needed a new pair of winter boots and didn't want to wait until the last minute. Anyway, I'm an adult, but I can wear a size 4 children's shoes. I ordered these for 5 kids thinking I would probably want to wear thick socks with them. I'm glad I ordered a size up as they run a bit small. I agree with other reviewers that the fit is a little tight at the ankle. But overall they make a comfortable and well-made impression.

These boots have always been a great choice for my growing kids. Keeps you dry and warm. The removable/replaceable liner is a nice bonus. Older soles are great for playing outside, in the playground, in the backyard, or in icy parking lots. Children of all ages can easily put on and take off shoes compared to other well-known brands that have a narrow fit (calf and foot).
