Unlock the Magic of Coding with the Kano Disney Frozen Coding Kit! Review

I have been a big fan of Kano for a while and bought this product for my friend's daughter who loves Frozen. She was fascinated by the set and excitedly told her mom and me about everything she had done (and what she plans to do next). I love how accessible Kano makes coding! My friend's daughter has never shown any interest in programming, but it has definitely opened up a whole new world for her! Her mom is so excited she's getting positive screen time.

Says it's for ages 6+ but my daughter is 6 and I had to write all the code because she didn't understand it. She can't read yet, and I couldn't find a way to read instructions on an iPad, so that was a bummer. You must add this feature for children who have difficulty reading. She loved validating items once I had finished coding them! I'm still playing around with it, but I'm hoping it has a way of manipulating elements without having to code them.

My kids just watched Frozen 2 and they love everything about the movie. They are very happy to open the box and all the materials, including the instructions, are of good quality. We gave it to my daughter for her 6th birthday because she loves programming and Frozen. This has to be one of the most frustrating games ever. First, it says it's for ages 6 and up, but be aware that it requires LOTS of literature. So if your child is not very good at reading, you will have to spend the whole game with him. Second, the device and app are constantly asynchronous. Either the device is disconnected while the app thinks it's still connected (so you don't get a chance to reconnect)
