The material looks good and I love that it has so much sun protection. But it is very large, especially for a swim shirt. I would recommend going down the size if you want a fitted look. If you don't mind something loose, you can probably stick with your child's typical size.

This product is said to be 86% Polyester and 14% Spandex. This is NOT accurate. There is no rashguard, just a 100% polyester shirt. That's what it says right on the label. decoy tactics. Attention buyers.

Ordered two aquamarine shirts and received two different aquamarine shirts. Even if you quickly touch one of the shirts, the fabric isn't as nice and smooth as the rashguard shirts you can get at Target. The weave doesn't look as tight, which means fewer threads per square inch.

My son is 11 years old, he is strong, weighs 90 pounds. Size 12 fits him perfectly. It's cut looser, just the way he likes it. Other brands were cut thin and high and had to be returned. I'm so glad I took the risk.

I bought this exact item last year for my son's swimming trunks. Last year the material was nylon, this year polyester. Polyester is not sunscreen and my son would never wear polyester to get wet it would be very uncomfortable.
