The shorts I received are not the color I ordered. Those pictured had a red stripe along with turquoise stripes and have neither a red nor a turquoise stripe. They are black and grey. Also, I ordered 3t, they are very small for 3t, more like 2t, and the waist doesn't matter much. The drawstring is not real, it is for beauty only, it does not work to loosen or tighten the shorts. Hooray, practical and functional swimsuit! The drawstring works and really keeps the suit in place! I don't know why companies make fake drawstring briefs (not everyone has the same waist size!). I have a 5 year old who is slim and active and needs shorts to stay in place. He wore this suit to swimming lessons today and didn't want to take it off for the rest of the day (and never once complained about my tightening or re-tying the laces). I just added 2 more of the same brand to my cart. BRAVO
