👶 Kanu Surf Swimwear: Toddler Protective Rashguard for Boys Review

My son is a skinny kid who normally wears a size 8, but a size 8 was too tight in this tank top. Came back and bought a size up - everything was perfect. So order at least 1 size larger.

Size 10 fits my 10 year old a little tight. The fabric is similar to regular swim/rashguard fabric. It has good neck protection and longer (almost elbow-length) sleeves. Ideal for swimming or water sports. We later bought 12 and they are exactly the same size (see photo - green is 12, blue is 10)! The problem is the size.

This shirt was too short. My son is medium height, 9 years old and I ordered 10. To be honest this shirt would fit my 5 year old.

This swim shirt tends to run small, especially over the head. My son is 8 years old and normally wears a size 7/8, I ordered a size 10 thinking it would fit now for swimming lessons and also next summer. But to my surprise, I can't even figure it out through his head.

It brought back memories of when my kids were little and learning to "surf" on the beach. When I put this rashguard on my 2 year old grandson he again recalled screaming at the tightness of the neckline of the shirt he was wearing. As soon as I put it on him it fit perfectly and looked great.

very nice top, my child loves it, well made and has withstood heavy use for years, my second child is now wearing it after the first and it still looks great!

decent quality. Runs a bit small but being a swimwear material it stretches more than enough. Sleeves to the elbow which I didn't see in the photo. My son says this is his most comfortable rashguard.

The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is the size. I bought this shirt in a large size because my son wears that size, but it turned out to be too small! I asked my daughter to try it, she is a medium and it suits her perfectly! I'm just glad I didn't have to send it back.

The quality of the material seems to be good. Can't comment on how it performs in the water/sun because I couldn't even get my son's head through the top. Unfortunately, the tags have already been removed.

I ordered two of these in Big Boys size 12. They are both so small. One barely fits my child and one of the shirts is INCHES smaller than the other. This one will not fit at all. They are also thinner than I expected. I am very disappointed in these rashguards. For the price I expected much better quality and fit.

Fits as expected but we had a few loose threads after several washes. I hope this is not normal. However, we continued to use it.

This is a great little rashguard. I ordered 2T for my 8 month old grandson and it fits perfectly. I would say it's small in general. It's a well-tailored, comfortable shirt that he wears on vacation and in the summer. I love the fact that it's SPF 50!

I ordered a size 10 and it runs smaller than a size 8 Lands End Swim Shirt. The shirt also started to loosen in the fabric after only two months of use. I will not buy this brand again.

My son couldn't even put it on or take it off by himself because the neck hole was so small. It was once the right size and a little tight around the neck. We decided to return it due to the odd fit around the neck.

I bought a size 10 for my 6 year old thinking it would be a little big. Size 10 was more like size 5. TOO SMALL! I had to return it. :(

I received this shirt today and it has a black stain. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the dance competition next weekend.

It barely fits over my son's head. He is 4 years old and I bought him a size 6. The material is not suitable, so it is difficult to put on and take off.

I bought this to wear with my 6 year old's swimming trunks before going to the beach. It did a great job of protecting it from the sun and I love that it's a solid color - very versatile. I would recommend a darker color if you want to play in the sand. White looked dirty at the end of the day.

I love that it fits my son who is only 4 years old perfectly. I ordered size 10 because the true size is usually very tight and he doesn't like tight shirts, he was very happy and neither did I.

The shirts are really small. I bought my son his normal size and then exchanged him for a larger size. Even too small. I sent the shirts back over a week ago and still no return. 😡😖
