Great product, pay attention to the intricacies of installation and save time

They work great for any type of light you can put on a schedule. We use them for outdoor outdoor lighting. Wifi is sensitive enough to find our router and they seem to turn on and off as they should. You need to install them using the Kasa phone app. To do this, you need to connect your phone to the Wi-Fi network created by the lightbulb. Strange and a bit slow, but it works. If your phone asks you to stop using Wi-Fi and rely on cellular data for data, say NO or it will stop communicating with

Unstable quality. Some bulbs are not usable.

I bought these because they looked a little more "branded" and were on sale. I bought 3 kits to cover most of my home that hasn't had smart bulbs yet. They are just like any other I own in terms of customization and physical quality. (to be honest the photo is misleading - it seems to have an aluminum radiator on the side, and in the ones I've gotten the same beige plastic as the whole body) The real problem is 2 of the 12 lightbulbs I have couldn't maintain a network connection and eitherโ€ฆ

New firmware required to work on large networks from 2021-09

Update 2: After almost a month of correspondence with the support I finally found a technician. The engineer was very experienced and systematically helped to check and test a number of settings and finally decided to download the beta firmware and load it onto the first lamp. I've completed the rest of the updates and so far it's been stable for a day. Lots of work to get to this point, hope they release a general update soon. Update 1: I've tried it before, after reading a few reviews I canโ€ฆ
