Did the job! good for batteries

These battery packs have solved a burning issue with our walkie talkie's battery life. Works great, delivered quickly, item as advertised.

Did NOT work properly

These batteries were not working properly in my Midland Desktop Charger (for LXT600 radios): the charge lights would flash on and off intermittently so I never knew if they were actually being charged. Midland OEM batteries don't behave like this; The red charging lights come on as soon as you place the radio in the dock and they stay on. I returned the Kastar batteries for a refund.

1 of 2 worked, not the happiest that's why

One of the two batteries doesn't work!? I've tried every possible combination, even tried different walkie-talkies. I know walkie talkies work, I used a different battery that actually works with both. i think i have to go back It's bad, my trip is tomorrow. I think I will have to use conventional batteries which will cost even more now. Why a crap

DOA and will not be charged

I ordered them twice. Only one of them worked the first time. I wasn't paying attention and ordered again from the same seller. Again, only one of the two works. At least they are consistent in their lameness. I live 20 miles from the post office. Returning something like this is a real pain and I really need that battery that works. You have to submit fake reviews to get as many stars as they show. I see others who have run out of batteries. Avoid.

According to one of the other reviews, the batteries had to be modified to work properly.

Batteries work fine but didn't work initially. Luckily I read one of the negative reviews that said the plastic coating around the negative battery terminal interfered with the connection; it stuck out too far. Of course I cut off part of the plastic cover exposing most of the terminal and now everything works fine. This applies to BOTH batteries and BOTH radios.

Quick battery change and it worked!

I ordered 4 batteries, 2 of them wouldn't turn on and wouldn't charge. 2 returned "faulty" and only 1 of the 2 new replacements worked. Same problem. (won't turn on or charge). I think there must be more to this question. I checked the "non-working" batteries on a volt meter and they all worked fine. On a whim I used a sharp utility knife and cut some of the white shrink wrap on the negative end of the batteries and that fixed the problem. The white plastic shrink wrap kept the radio's battery…
