Elizabethan collar - I liked it.

Hello, my name is Hani, I'm 2 years old, 12-pound "Fireworks" . I had surgery and needed a collar to protect my cut (love to lick it all up). I didn't want to wear such a hard plastic stuff so my mom bought me this collar. My vet accepted the collar. I found the collar comfortable, light, soft, and it didn't interfere with eating, drinking, walking, sleeping, and I didn't bump against the walls. Dressing and undressing was easy for my mother. I think my furbabies friends will love it.

Lasted two days, didn't bother licking the hind legs

My puppy is 9 months old so I was afraid to leave him unattended with a regular electronic collar. She was a little scared when I first put this on her but she adjusted quickly and slept great in it. and licked the wound. On the second day, she managed to poke a hole in it, blow out the air, and then pull out the hose. She enjoyed playing around with it a lot, but it was ineffective for its intended purpose.

Great alternative to the best collars and recovery cones

The plastic pubic cone we got from the vet didn't work for our dog. Her dog was very uncomfortable in it and cried all day. It was a great alternative. Once she got used to it, she actually found it comfortable and even used it as a pillow. This seems to prevent her from getting to the wound and give it a chance to heal. We are a large size and our dog is a 70 lb lab mix. It was a bit tricky to inflate and difficult to stay fully inflated, but it worked for us and I liked that the cover was…

Not a substitute for a cone

Interesting concept but definitely not a substitute for using a cone. It works best in combination with a cone (cone on top, pillow on the bottom to keep the cone in place). Depending on the dog, however, the combination can be too difficult. This was normal for our puppy (poodle mix) and he got used to it quite quickly. I will say it really helped support his head while sleeping (which is the point of the pillow I guess lol). As for durability, it will tear, especially around the velcro…

  • Definitely a bad product

Good cone for a quiet dog

I ordered a small inflatable cone for my Papillon. First he pushed with his paws and squeezed over his head. I pumped it up more. Then he pushed and pushed his neck between the cone and the Velcro. Luckily I was home and fixed it before it got hurt. I tightened the belt and scolded him. It's hard to find a balance between being tight and not so tight that breathing is restricted. If you found it and your dog got used to it then it's a good product. I believe all inflatable skittles will have…

Better than the standard cone, not great.

I bought this for my post neutered pup and while I will say it's a lot more comfortable and easier than a traditional cone, it's not perfect. I would say if he was ONLY neutered it would work, but since he also got wolf claws he could still reach those bites. Especially when he turned around and he could reach his feet when the cone opening was in the right position. He was also fascinated and obsessed with Velcro! Overall he didn't hate it and didn't try to rip it off and didn't seem to mind…
