Not as bad as I had hoped

I should have read the reviews, they are not as strong as they say they are and too many returns issues. I would pay more for a really strong mini clip. I've found them before, but they're not that good.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not suitable for woodworking.

Nib too small/weak for gluing wood (even when working with veneer). The plastic tips do not adhere well to the clamp steel and will come loose. They're completely useless in the store, I'll probably give them to my kids to play with.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

Durable little things

So small but powerful! I will definitely buy more. I had it in my backpack and my friends didn't know how to stabilize the backdrop for a party and these little things made it possible and they said WHY did you have it? I said I'm a virgin, I'm getting ready for god knows what, hahaha

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So far, so good

I bought these to keep the pages of my notebook open while I paint. They are the right size, the right elasticity and the right price. Don't expect to use them for something heavy mechanical like working on a car. To do this, you need full-size industrial clamps. But if you just need to keep a few pages open, manage a bit of cord, or use them in a hobby or craft, they'll do the job just fine.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Ideal for small, filigree work!

I was surprised that the product description said 4 packs, but I received a box of a dozen clips. I'm going to use these to hold together what I glued together. I think they will work great. If I just used my fingers to hold the piece, they might end up sticking to it. I thought they were well done. I really only needed one clip but buying 4 didn't seem like excessive but now I have way too many and I really don't have room for them in my various toolboxes. Well, I'll probably have that forโ€ฆ

Expensive but good

Nothing to complain about in terms of quality and usefulness. I use them all the time for a lot of different things so you could say they are definitely worth the money. And this is the truth. But I don't see why they should cost almost two dollars apiece. So four stars.

Pros
  • DURABLE STEEL HOUSING: These steel spring clips are built to last. Has an ergonomic handle for comfortable use. The heavy-duty spring clip is coated in a corrosion-resistant finish with vinyl tips and grips for a better grip. Soft, non-slip handles provide control when attaching or removing clamps. Assemble parts with spring clips, secure and glue.
Cons

ideal for model building

As a model maker I have been using them for many years. I have over 45, but sometimes supplies run out. Not because they break, but because my wife keeps giving them away and I thought I was going to lose them. Everyone wants them. My wife uses it to seal fresh and freezer bags. I take my hat off to you all. Merry Christmas

Pros
  • HEAVY DUTY: 2" steel spring clamps provide a secure clamp for carpentry work. It has hardened steel springs for stable holding power. Constant downforce is provided by a fatigue-resistant, hardened steel coil spring. Strong spring jaws provide a gripping force of 25 lbs.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Suitable when you need a softer grip.

They're pretty weak. If you are looking for a soft closure for fragile items, this is it. If you want a clasp that will hold something like a wire that doesn't release with a slight tug, look for a larger size. These are tiny. I can't rate it badly because maybe that's how it should be. They just didn't meet my needs.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: Reliable and easy to use spring clip. Soft sponges grip and hold, won't slip or damage treated surfaces. Tough and durable, the classic all-steel construction is nickel-plated for corrosion resistance. Provides instant holding power and is easy to move when assembling, fastening and gluing.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
