KAVU Zippit Crossbody Adjustable Strap Women's Handbags & Wallets and Crossbody Bags Review

I bought this for travel. I usually take a backpack with me when I travel, but I don't always like walking around town with it, so I needed a smaller, zippered bag. I like the long strap and the bright colors. It seems pretty solid, having withstood a decent beating in trams and the like. I can also put my phone, wallet and keys and leave some free space. There are multiple pockets, which is nice too!

Kavu impressed me a long time ago and I've been waiting to find the right size bag. You can imagine my disappointment when this bag didn't live up to my expectations. Over the course of a few days I picked out loose threads, burned the frayed ends of the mesh and mostly did rework that isn't typically required for a quality product. Also, I was disappointed that the strap was so thin and narrow, not like what I've seen in stores. The fit was good. He is light. But the quality was bad.

This is the second KAVU bag I have bought. The first one worked great so I wanted a different color pattern. I love the durability and construction. There are plenty of pockets without being bulky. The size is not too small and not too big. I've been trying to find a bag that can only carry what I need without being too big. It meets all requirements. The straps are very strong and adjustable. I needed something to free my hands and they work great. I would recommend them to others.

I never give one star but this bag has such a horrible design! The pattern itself, the material and the colors are nice, but the "adjustable" strap is absolutely useless! I'm not sure why this company thought it was a great idea to make a strap that barely stretches and then sew on a pointless/useless giant plastic buckle. I really like this wallet. Very bright and cheerful pattern. Used it for a trip to Disney for a week. I liked that all the pockets were zipped except for one with velcro on the back which I didn't use. The large bag has no inner pockets, which was unusual. I liked the laces. I really love this bag. It's big enough to hold more than a wallet and phone, but not big enough to be unwieldy.
