The problem here is that the case covers so much of the key fob that you can't use it as intended. If you install it as is you will not be able to start your truck as the key will not fit in the slot. I mean who did the quality control on this one? I had to cut about 1/4 inch off the top to make it work.

The FOB cover is very well made and I was very pleased until I tried to start my truck. The cap was too thick for the key to fit far enough to turn. I had to remove the FOB from the cap every time I wanted to use it in a truck. I was disappointed and returned it. If you want to take your FOB off the lid to use it, this FOB is for you. It is very nicely finished and looks like high quality material. I would order a second FOB cover for my wife's truck key if the FOB worked in the FOB cover.

I bought mine about a week ago and today is 10/01/2021. Let me state my point as I totally disagree with some of these reviews. The leather case is perfect, maybe not the best lock. Mechanism if you like hanging keys out of your pocket and your job is in construction or in a similar business like mine. (Remember your keys are loose) I am very happy with my set because I bought two with a bottom, a spare key that is in my key fob (if I need it I have to open the case, that is no problem.) well…

To be honest I can only give this product 2 stars and here is why. Two stars is just an attraction, it would have gotten five stars, but that reason comes later. The look of this key case is sleek, it's leather so it doesn't look cheap like those silicone cases (nor does it stick to your pockets when you try to pull it out like those silicone cases), it was a bit tight at first so you have to really put the key in with some effort, otherwise it won't fully penetrate your ignition.
