Delivery was quick as expected with Prime but the item was defective - the spring loaded door latch was welded on making access through this door impossible. Luckily I got it as an addition to my hamster cage. They offered to send a replacement as an option on the website, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending the original back. I know they are mass produced but some quality control goes a long way. Otherwise it serves its purpose.

I bought this cage for my teddy bear hamster. I will say it's small for a teddy bear but I knew I'd go in and I was planning on extending it. The cage was easy and fun to assemble and has been solid so far. It also comes with instructions on how to replace it if damaged, but mine arrived in perfect condition. Would recommend for dwarf hamsters, mice or part of a larger Syrian hamster kit. I'm giving it a 4 because I'm worried about getting water for the water bottle and the wheel is too small…

I thought it was too big because most hamsters are a bit bigger than small rodents, but it was PERFECT for my mice! I have orphaned house mice that I raised from little fingers. They are both boys and started fighting in the same cage so I have 2. They absolutely LOVE them. I will update when I clean it for the first time which will be very soon. Perfect! I originally bought this cage to pair with the two story Kaytee Habitat we own. It's too small to have a white dwarf in it all the time. I had to put my cupcake bitch in this cage when she had a brood of babies (remove wheel) and after a week I found she was going crazy climbing the bars trying to chew her way out.
