Kaytee Super Play Tunnel Hanging Review

Well, in 7 years of owning ferrets, I have never had such a cheap POS product. It was delivered 4 days ago and is already defective. Not in the least for overuse of anything. This was bought to go in my new little guy's cage. (The boy is only a few months old.) The end is torn off and unusable. I wish I still had the packaging to return this. Too bad because my little friend enjoyed sleeping in it for 2.5 days when he was actually in his cage.

I have three young rats. They've had it in their cage for 1 day and already the stitching on the ends has unraveled and are falling apart. They already have preferred nesting sites in cages, so they don't all get together. I've actually seen only one rat use it at all, as they take some time to get used to a new item in their territory. The stitching quality is very poor and I had to remove them after almost every use.

my rats liked it. They didn't sleep in it, but carried treats in there to eat in solitude. I think they just liked that they added another level to their house. It was funny to see the head pop out of the top hole when they heard me coming. BUT the ropes she's hanging on she gnawed through in 10 days. I doubt I can fix it. If, as another reviewer said, it lasts a few months, I'd buy a new one in a heartbeat. The color I received is a fairly light blue.

I have 7 ferrets. Those cheap tunnels aren't good for ferrets. I give it three stars because it's a random color and it's not very durable. I want them to have more colors to choose from so you can choose which color you want. I turned green I was hoping to get a "nicer" color to match the theme of her room, but I think you get what you pay for. You cannot machine dry it. Not what I expected. Not bad if you have a ferret or two. It's narrow and really only fits a ferret. We have 4 very playful ferrets and they are all very interested but not compatible. I probably should have read better because it's nylon and you can hear her nails scratching it. (Imagine rummaging through that fabric. Wow!) I bought it for my chinchillas to play with. I knew it was meant for ferrets. The photo is deceptive and it is much shorter and smaller than I expected. My chin fits in, but because it's so short she doesn't care. It is shorter than a life size ferret and may be too small for a larger adult ferret. I would not recommend this for adult ferrets.
