KD 2106 All Purpose Scraper Sticker Review

Good tool for removing stickers from the inside of the windshield. It wasn't comfortable and didn't absorb all the glue. Some of the positions I had to vacate were still difficult to reach.

It is made of high quality steel and will not bend like non-KD scrapers of the same design. I was disappointed that the handle didn't have the KD mark like my old one. But it works well and is inexpensive.

Ordered a KD tool scraper and got this cheap Chinese GearWrench. Sharp edges and a shaky hand. I've had some of my KD tools for over 40 years, they just suck. This is not a lifetime tool, for $9 I won't be returning it but I will look on eBay for the original item.

Nice sticker remover but I had a problem removing the adhesive after removing the sticker. Didn't really need the moving head as it didn't help me with the decal on the underside of the windshield. It seems to me that a double-edged razor blade would remove more dirt, but the long handle helped with leverage.

NO KD tool. They were purchased/bundled with GearWrench and it seems a lot cheaper than my 20 year old KD. The blind rivet barely goes through the hole and both parts are very loose. My colleague in our metal shop used his anvil press to better fit the rivet, now it's very strong and doesn't wobble. The finish looks like very thin chrome as opposed to the electroplated/plated finish on my KD.

I have some old decals on my windshield that I have not been able to remove with other tools and believe me I have tried many of them. With this tool I was able to remove them all in minutes, the long handle is especially handy for reaching those windshield decals. There are absolutely no scratches on the glass. Great product and does what it says on the tin, couldn't ask for more.
