In the picture it looks like a shovel tip but it is not. This is a round tip. Now I have to make a flat tip out of it because I don't have to spend $7 to send them back. Couldn't you guys use misleading pictures?! And Revane; How about little envelopes to send these things? S&H cost me more than the tips themselves!

I'm only giving one star because I can't put a zero. These tips will burn out 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, even with tin baths and constant cleaning. Weller used to be number one in that department. but no more, i get better results with a $20 iron. I buy them for WCPT models, we don't use them anymore, we've used about 10 of them. Now we use AOYUE brand irons.

These Weller tips are excellent. They have an iron coating that absorbs solder but does not dissolve in it, allowing the tips to hold their shape for a long time. However, once you've worn off the iron plating and exposed the copper, it quickly begins to disintegrate and you'll need a new tip quickly.
