Outdoor Hiking Shoes for 👟 Toddler Boys - KEEN Kids Chandler Review

Booked this for an upcoming trip to North Carolina. My daughter who is 2 and 1/2 years old now wears a size 6-6.5. She has broad, thick legs. I was nervous about ordering a size 7. I figured I had enough time to exchange them if the size 7 was too big. They fit perfectly. She complains that her feet are hot but we live in Florida so I guess that won't be a problem when we get to North Carolina. I will post a trip message to update the durability information.

The shoes fit well, not too small and not too big. Kids can run on dirt/gravel paths and climb big boulders, so the grip is really good. The shoes are still new so I don't really compromise on durability but even if the shoes wear out quickly I would still buy them again as the quality is great and they protect the kids.

I like that we don't have to worry about the laces coming undone. Nice snug fit with rounded edges so a very sporty 5 year old would find it easy to wear!

We bought these for a trip to Joshua Tree with our son who just turned 2. They are easy to put on and take off (but don't fall off), are very flexible, feel comfortable and have great grip. He climbed the rocks and walked without slipping or tripping because he had never worn these shoes before. You are fantastic!

Very easy to put on and comfortable right out of the box. Quality construction especially after a few burns from other companies I've paid as much or more for that had holes a week after use - very impressed!

Great looking shoes. But ask a 7-year-old if he has good arch support. I have "what?" She says they are comfortable. But chooses them about 1/2 times. Light pink color. Best thing she hasn't rubbed through her sock in 3 months. I can't say that's the case with other shoes or brands.

We have these on our repeating size radar for a kid who will destroy every shoe we buy while active outside. The only downside is that there aren't many pillows, but that can be compensated for with padded socks. These aren't running shoes, but they're good for everything else.

We love hiking and this is the perfect hiking shoe for our little one. They are excellent quality and very well designed! They're light, durable and have a nice thick rubber toe cap that protects the toes.

I chose Keen despite being relatively expensive because they are said to be of high quality. So disappointed the pair only lasted 6 months. As you can see the fabric ripped on one shoe and is about to rip on the other shoe.

There are 2 styles on one product page. I just received one with the wrong style. Suggest not to post different styles of shoes on the same product page. I still keep it. The shoes themselves are quite non-slip and comfortable. I like it, except for the style.

My 5 year old is rough on shoes and they hold up very well. Even after a month of use, they look like new. I love that you can toss them in the laundry and they stay safe and healthy.

I really want to like these shoes that I bought for my daughter. They appear to be well made and comfortable to wear. My problem with them is that they make my daughter's feet smelly. After wearing them all day to school, she takes them off and has no choice but to wash her feet. No other pair of shoes has been able to do this. I've tried washing them and using deodorant. Nothing seems to work. Very disappointing!

We got them for my 5 year old. They have been great, very durable and he loves them. It took him a bit of practice to put them on at first, but once they broke it wasn't a problem.

The laces just snapped and we started using them in early May. This means that they stayed with us for about 2.5 months. Not good enough in my opinion!

If you have a child who wears out the toe of their shoes, they will love this. Elastic at the top to keep the fabric from wearing out. survived great!

My daughter has very small but wide feet. Keane has a wider fit. She has several pairs of sandals and a pair of quality running shoes.

These are great shoes and our kid loves them. The sole is rounded, was curious how it would be worn but no problem. My kid said they were comfortable when he put them on and raced in them.
