🥾 KEEN Unisex-Child Hikeport 2: Waterproof Mid Height Strap Hiking Boot for Superior Outdoor Exploration Review

I wanted these boots to please my active boy but they are nowhere near waterproof. When you first put them on, water flows through them. . . . I expected more from this brand (especially considering the price).

We love Keen shoes, my child has had them since he could fit into toddler shoes. Unfortunately, this particular style didn't last even one season. The sole began to peel and separate. We have not experienced this with their products in the past and are very disappointed. And of course we cannot ask for a refund or exchange during the try-before-buy return and purchase process. I think I learned my lesson not to order shoes from Amazon, only from reliable sources.

The straps are very difficult to attach and take at least five minutes to put on your feet. The metal hole through which the tape is passed is too small.

I've always loved Keen because they make shoes for wider feet. But these boots are definitely for a narrow/medium foot. Rigid, non-flexible outsole. I can't imagine how a baby can walk, climb or jump in these shoes 🤷🏼‍♀️

It is easy for my disabled child to put it on by himself. She has poor fine and gross motor skills and usually has trouble wearing shoes. She could wear them big, even if they were new and unworn. They also kept their feet warm and most importantly dry through huge puddles!

We were very happy to find hiking boots wide enough for my son's feet and he liked the super fast double velcro closure. (My son has a size 3 boys shoe and the width is almost a size 5. We bought 4 and they fit almost perfectly.)
