Love love love this shoes. We've been buying them every summer for three years. They are perfect for an active 5 year old. They wash well and are perfect for anything your little one can do. My only concern is that they can rub against the inside of the ankle if they don't fit properly. I think I guessed it and had to come back for a different size every year. Once you scale down, they're perfect.

usually my little one can stay at KEEN'S all day. slippery in the water park (weird for water shoes) also walked through the puddles didn't slip puddles at the concert. I know a wet floor can be slippery, but it needs some traction - what kid doesn't want to run and jump in puddles. It also cuts into the leg from the side. very disappointed. The same shoes last year were great so I don't know what happened, maybe KEEN makes them different.

I bought these for my 5 year old son. These are his favorite shoes. Once he got the hang of it, he was able to easily put it on and take it off himself. The weather turned cold for a few days and he was frustrated to wear running shoes again. These sandals are sturdy and durable. My kids are rough and fall and this shoe stands up to play. They are great for cycling, hiking, running and in the water. They don't slip when wet. They also dry quickly.
