Very durable and comfortable

I've been wearing them almost every day for 2 months. They are very comfortable and durable and will likely last a long time. I'm very impressed with how my feet feel in these shoes after a long walk and they look decent enough to wear to work. If they ever wear out I'll probably order another pair.

Pros
  • When Keene gave me a lemon for the first time, I was uncomfortable with all of that. I regret buying them.
Cons
  • Ball of foot damaged. Like the looks

Too long tongue - SOLVED!

We've found a functional solution to a design problem with a piece that everyone is complaining about, forefoot/upper foot hurts at the ankle because it's too long. It was a little scary cutting that extra length off the first shoe, but the leather repair kit we had for the upholstery did the job perfectly! (We needed the shoes for the next day trip and didn't have time to find anything else.) But they've walked about 50 miles across Europe with this fit, no problem! We've cropped just below…

Pros
  • Comes in a medium US 10.5 for a comfortable and snug fit.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people working in humid environments.

TERRIBLE SHOES in my review

I bought these shoes for work and after a while I started to feel pain in my heel. I started wearing different shoes and my pain went away. All in all I would not recommend this shoe.

Pros
  • This is at least my fifth pair!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with flat feet

Classic....!!! - my new rating

I love these shoes! I like the looks. i love this feeling Lots of room for toes. I have no pain in Morton's toes when wearing them. I will definitely buy them again.

Pros
  • Kinz has great shoes but the problem is they were too tight so I had to return them.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with diabetes

Great shoes, sure, but now with cheap synthetic laces.

Definitely great shoes. Unfortunately Keen have decided to downgrade the laces from high quality flat cotton laces to cheap synthetic laces which are nothing compared to what was previously supplied.

Pros
  • The top of the foot is tight.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with bones

I like Keen Austin Boots, not shoes.

EDIT: After a week the top and back edges of the collar/heel tab rubbed awkwardly and at times painfully against the back of my ankles/achilles tendon. I don't have blisters but I think I'll get them if I take a long walk in them. Very surprising considering how comfortable the boots were. This does not appear to be a break-in issue, but rather a design flaw due to the shape of the Achilles Notch. I'm deducting two stars from my rating for that. -- -- -- -- For years, Austin boots have been my…

Not as comfortable as my other Keens!

I must have had a dozen+ pairs of Keens. These are my favorite comfortable shoes! Put them on and they immediately feel like old friends. Not these! I immediately felt that they were stiffer overall than I was used to from the Keen brand. Looking back, I should have returned them immediately, but I didn't. They weren't cheap. Now it's probably too late to send them back! This is my first negative experience with the Keen brand. Maybe you see my review!

Pros
  • Easy cleaning and maintenance with a simple wipe
Cons
  • Limited availability in stores

Good product, maybe a slight drop in quality

I had a previous pair that I wore for over 3 years. Very sturdy, recently bought the same version and the laces are cheaper and the insoles are a bit different but still seems to be of good quality, the soles of the shoes also seem to be made of cheaper plastic, maybe I'll update this review . after wearing new versions for a long time.

Pros
  • Comfortable fit right out of the box
Cons
  • Limited color options

Incredibly comfortable

I like how they feel at work. They support my arches and don't feel stiff when standing up. Huge offer for professionals!

Pros
  • The only downside is that it's not waterproof.
Cons
  • Not suitable for extreme weather conditions

Not the kins I wear

The product was much stiffer than others I've had even before they were broken in, and the rear "padding" is stiffer and irritates/irritates (for me) right at the back of the shoe opening. (On the back of the ankle.) I returned them. And I REALLY wanted a new pair of Keens!

Pros
  • Good shoes. Too bad they didn't fit.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with narrow feet.

Ideal for standing work on hard surfaces

I had 6 pairs of these. I work all day at USPS on hard concrete floors and this is the only shoe that fits me. I tried many popular work shoes and boots before discovering these and I have not gone back.

Pros
  • I was very happy to punish those Austins.
Cons
  • Good

Awkward, mid-black shoes

The shoe has a nice wide toe box and a good width which was my purchase priority and the quality Keen is known for. But for the price they are nothing special. You feel clumsy, heavy, and maybe even noisy when walking. They feel a little stiff to flex at the toe. In general, I have not felt any complaints - the areas tighten, rub or wear out quickly.

Pros
  • I was looking for wide toe work shoes and this is it! Happy with my purchase!
Cons
  • The seam begins to unravel.

Perfect for my rating.

I ordered Keen Austin shoes for work. I wanted something light with a hard toe. I have Keen jokers and sandals and when they are on sale the shoes are larger than usual so order one size down listen. You're right about the money. Keen Austin didn't have that slogan. I ordered my true size and they are perfect. They are so light and absolutely comfortable to wear that they are made of ceramic and not steel. I love these shoes and can only recommend them.

Pros
  • Ideal
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with swollen feet

They were worn.

I bought two pairs of these shoes from the KEEN official website and the shoes look amazing. It was such a good buy that I decided to buy a third pair in all black but they weren't the right color. I found a black pair here on ebay, supposedly brand new. Unfortunately they had a few small scratches when I received them and they were clearly worn. When you see these new shoes, they are packaged in a special way, just like Microsoft packaged the XBOX Series X, it was very easy to see that they…

Pros
  • There is enough space in the toe area.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with toe deformity

Go to shoe for work or just casual

This is my second pair of Austin Keens (I've had 5 pairs in different styles) and I've returned to this model because it does the job well. At work, I'm on my feet all day. These shoes are sturdy and seem to keep my body from collapsing. The only major caveat I would give to beginners wearing Keen is that they take a long time to break in compared to shoes like Nike or Adidas. But once taken apart wow they last a long time and seem to keep my feet from hurting. The shoes only lasted me 6…

Pros
  • STYLE: The classic Oxford lace-up design makes the Austin shoes perfect for any occasion, whether it's in the office, a night out on the town or just a stroll; Professional Outdoor Look
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Perfect Fixed Life Shoes

Just bought a third pair of Keen Austins in brown. meaning you can pull them properly over the arch of your foot. The heel does not slip. Wrap around toe sole found on most Keen shoes and keeps them looking good much longer than other shoes. but more dressy situations (work, church, etc.), but still working in a bar with jeans on - no idea how, but never seems to get too hot in them, even in the summer - and doesn't seem to get too cold in the winter - for Moderate hikes (actually anything that
