Rated only 4 stars. Still great shoes. One of them had torn a sock after 9 months. It'll probably only take him a few months to outgrow them anyway, but it still feels like a 5-star shoe should last a full year. Our 5 year old is bad with shoes. He jumps, drags his toes, keeps kicking things etc. This shoe has been extremely durable this summer and will likely outlive his foot size unlike any other pair of standard tennis shoes we've bought him.
