I bought these for my 7 year old son. Every week we go hiking, kayaking or mountain biking. This shoe offers protection, stays in place and is easy to slip on. He will play with stones in the river, they have no cuts or stabs. Keanes are notorious for smelling after wearing them. The easiest way to clean them is to throw them in the washing machine on a cold washer. I've tried soaking and cleaning it with vinegar, baking soda, dish soap, and oxyclean.

In fact, I've bought them several times in different sizes as my child grows. These sandals are a great option for toe cap sandals for my child to run in at summer camp and wear to a rocky beach, plus they are washable. between the top strap and the nearest strap becomes very large, while the distance at the front remains the same. My daughter said the latest pair (size 6) are ugly and "doesn't look like the picture" so unlike previous pairs she only wears them as water shoes.

My kids have always worn Keen sandals because they protect their toes when walking around water parks and beaches in the Pacific Northwest. They are strong enough to climb rocks and waterproof to walk in streams.

My daughter wore them during our trip to the river. They held up beautifully and were very durable in rock and mud. We will definitely buy her again when she grows up!

Excellent quality. Ideal for the summer. My daughter wore them all the time and they were so easy to throw in the wash when they got dirty. Will be buying another pair now as it has outgrown these.

I bought these sandals for my 3 year old to wear to games, the beach etc in the summer. They're easy to put on and take off, a great alternative to sneakers in the heat, they're comfortable to wear every day and she's happy with them, that's the main thing. I'm happy with my purchase and will buy again next year if we get an equally good deal!

Liked the fact that they gave a soft sole and toe protection. Even though they rubbed my kids' ankles. I cut off the extra velcro which seems to have helped some.

Bought these for my daughter to run and play outside, they are perfect for trails, rivers/streams and lakes. Perfect summer shoes because they are so versatile!

It's great that they're durable and my child is comfortable in them, but the fabric starts to wear out very quickly after even light use.

I ordered these for my girls for a trip to Disney World. Every time we walked they would get blisters from their shoes. Not these! They were comfortable to walk on all day and didn't leave blisters even after 5 days in the park. Highly recommended!

We tried different types of walking shoes on our kids. You come home with wild blisters in every other shoe; We wrapped duct tape around their heels like hikers on the Appalachian Trail. With that they return home happy, dirty and with nice healthy legs. It really is the perfect "adventure camp" shoe.

Really good sandals. I like that you can wash it in the machine. They came out brand new. I feel like they're a bit small so consider rating them if they fall in between.

came too big. I ordered these for my 4 year old and according to the size chart it should have been a size 12. I ordered another size 11 sandal and it fits. I hope they fit next year. They are both waterproof and I was really looking forward to hiking. I took off a lot of stars because they need to stop suggesting people use this size chart.

It fits great. Granddaughter has long thin legs. The length fits well and the velcro strap keeps the shoes on well. This is her favorite so far.

I thought it was antimicrobial shoes. However, after a pair of no-sock socks, my baby shoes smell like something horrible! I have washed these shoes more times than any other sandals.
