Ok but I sent them back

Nice boots but I didn't like the closure. I felt like I couldn't get them tight enough around my son's ankle. However, you are definitely paying for the brand. We found some we liked better for my son's growing feet (he's growing too fast to wear them down) for a third of the price. I returned these.

The metal pins are broken at the top

My child has had this boot for almost 2 months now. That's all they talk about EXCEPT the metal pins that hold the tip of the laces closed up to the ankle are broken. We are avid hikers and when this happens a second time on a moderate hike it is very unfortunate. We have had many Keen boots and this is the first time we have had a quality issue. Otherwise these boots live up to expectations.

I bought it for my kid for our future camping trip. My daughter makes this her everyday shoe

My daughter's size 13. We ordered size 13. She says it has little room for her growing foot and she feels comfortable every time she wears it. Presumably she will use it for our future hike, but within a minute of opening the shoe box she was putting it on and riding her bike. She's been using it for two weeks now. So far no complaints from her.
