Not a simple install but works great

These lights put out pretty good amount of light for pennies a day. My only criticism is the amount of space the motion sensor module takes up when mounted on the standard 4" round waterproof outlet box. There's really not enough space to fit the guts into a standard back box because the mounting strap prevents the daylight sensor module from fully fitting into the box. I wound up having to grind some metal off the cross strap in order to finish mounting this brand of floodlight.Edit…

Great security lights

My husband put up 2 of these lights above the garage and they are perfect. He had no problem replacing them at the site of the old lights.They light the whole front of the house. I love that they come on at dusk and off at daylight.

Bulky photocell hits their mounting bracket, had to mount it crooked.

I went to install this light and followed their instructions. The mounting bracket had to be mounted diagonally across the electrical box as that is where the electical boxes screw holes were. With the bracket mounted in that position, the light would not go on straight as they have pictured. The photocell box on the light fixture was bulky and would not clear their mounting bracket. You have to mount it clocked to one side and then readjust the fixtures. It looks just okay because of the way…

Good if you wanted a strobe light.

So the product went together very easily. However dispite the reviews that said it flickers i went ahead and gave it a try. I saw some people say they contacted the company for a sensor guard but mine actually came with one. Unfortantly it is still kicking off when its pitch black out. Very disappointed. High quality and great area coverage

High quality and easy to install. The unit provides great light coverage and is easy to adjust for best coverage. I adjusted for one flood to illuminate my flag pole and one for the area in front of my garage.

Excellent light, very sensitive photocell

I was impressed with the quality and brightness of the light. It was also very simple to install. I had an issue with it strobing on and off due to reflected light coming from the light itself. The photocell is very sensitive. I noticed on some previous reviews that the company offered a sensor cover to address the issue. I called and it was promptly shipped and it fixed the issue. Photocell is to sensible and it turn on and off when begin to work in dusk time. Call to request the part and the telephone number has the message box full and it can't be reached!. Seller sent me the solution, parts for shading the photocell will be shipped as soon as possible and meanwhile I found a temp solution, cover the photocell most of the area with black electrical tape, this is the only way to avoid the on and off periodically.Anyway I love these lamps for the light intensity and the…

Great light output, maybe the best customer service

While I love the lights, I had similar problems mentioned by other reviewers in both sets I bought. When they would turn on, the lights would flash on and off similar to a strobe light for approximately 5 minutes before finally turning on. Following advice from another reviewer I made a cylinder shield for the sensor to fix this issue. I used 1/2" plastic conduit and epoxy. Now that I have that problem fixed, the light output is fantastic.

Best bang for the buck

So much better than halogen. Twice as bright. Don't be skeptical of the price compared to more expensive ones, I can't believe how great this really is! Went right in place of old halogen fixtureOnly had to cut a small square for the photo sensor to fit. Took 20 min. Total to install.

Very bright, reliable.

This light is bright! I had to readjust it so that it shot down more so that it doesn't blind you! But it reliably comes on every night at dusk and back off at dawn. Very compact. I would buy it again when the need arises.

Good customer service!

Very nice quality and I really liked how easy it was to adjust the light direction. I am experiencing the flicker issue and called their listed 800 #. The young lady was extremely helpful and said I should have the photocell cover in about 5 business days. A+ for customer service!

Easy to install, and super bright! I'm not using the photocell feature at the moment (have it taped over), so I can't say how well it works, or if the shield that can be added to it is useful.

Flood light failed after two years even though it has a 5-year warrantyCall the company they wanted me to return defective product before they would send a new one which means I would not have had a flood light in the backyardshould have been the other way around when I got my new light I would send the old one back very dissatisfied

Waste of money for my opinion

The description say that the light have 50,000 hour life, that would be more than 10 years if the light is used for 12 hours each day. I installed it in Oct 2017 and one of the bulb is already gone. I am disappointed as I have to change the whole assemble, the bulb is not replaceable.
