Description of ๐Ÿก Furnish My Homestead's FMH COOKโ€™S HELPER Collection: Brown Sugar Keeper, Bread Saver, Pot Minder, Bread Warmer โ€“ Ideal Hostess Gift/Party Favors for Lunch/Afternoon Tea (Trademarked)

REDUCE MESSY BOILOVERS: Porcelain Pot Minder helps keep pots from boiling over on the stove when cooking and prevents frustration of cleaning stove tops. Simply place the Pot Minder in the bottom of the pot when cooking or warming pasta, soups, potatoes, vegetables, milk, or boiling eggs. The disk chatters on the bottom of the pot as boiling becomes more intense. Approximately 2.3โ€ in diameter and .4" thick. SOFTENS BROWN SUGAR AND MARSHMALLOWS: Brown Sugar Keeper softens rock hard brown sugar and marshmallows and keeps them soft. Soak your ceramic Brown Sugar Saver in water for 15 minutes, pat dry, and tuck it in the brown sugar. When kept in a sealed container, this will keep brown sugar soft for up to 3 months. When sugar begins to harden, re-soak, pat dry, and use again. Approximately 2.3โ€ in diameter and .4โ€ thick. KEEP BREADS FRESHER LONGER: Simply soak the ceramic Bread Saver in water for 15 minutes, pat dry, and place in a sealed container with bread. Also works great for bagels, cakes, and cookies. The ceramic saver disk can be used again and again by drying and re-soaking. Approximately 2.3โ€ in diameter and .4โ€ thick. KEEP BREADS AND BAKED ITEMS WARM: Bread Warmer keeps bread and baked items warm throughout a meal for approximately 45 minutes. For best results, simply heat the ceramic tile in your oven, toaster, or barbecue grill. Set the heated tile in a cloth-lined basket or dish, placing your warmed bread or buns on top, and cover with cloth. Use to keep bread, rolls, croissants, and folded tortillas warm when serving. Great for family meals! Avoid interrupting meals to warm more rolls. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND INTERCHANEABLE: Both the Brown Sugar Keeper and Bread Saver pieces are interchangeable and can be used to soften and maintain moistness in coconut, marshmallows, raisins, and other dried fruit. They can also be used as bread warmers. Just heat as you would for the Bread Warmer. Use dry, without soaking, to absorb moisture and keep spices, salt, crackers, pretzels and chips crisp. All pieces are environmentally friendly, made from specially fired clay; safe to use w.

A must if you live in a humid climate

I use them in everything. White granulated sugar, brown sugar, rice, bread box - and for dry bulk spices. You can either use them to keep things dry (bake first) or moist (soak first).

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Too long to wait

these works. And you save time and money!

That's great! I have used: brown sugar preservative to rehydrate my dried hardened brown sugar; a means of taking care of the pot when cooking pasta so it doesn't overcook. worked great!; and a bread keeper that keeps bread moist for several days (I live alone so loaves of bread last a long time and this keeps bread very fresh and moist).

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Read the instructions for preparing each one before use.

I liked them all. I use white to keep the pot from boiling over. I put the brown in a hard bag of brown sugar. Soft as a new bag overnight. I used breadcrumbs in my bread loaf, it keeps it soft. I didn't use baked bread just because I didn't bake anything.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
