Description of KeeYees Expansion Terminal ESP8266 Development

★ For ESP8266 ESP-12E ★ Specially designed by KeeYees technical team. It is fully compatible with ESP8266 ESP-12E. It expands all the pins, which is very suitable for the project on the ESP8266 module. ★ GPIO 1 into 2 ★ This expansion board can expand one GPIO pin of Development Board to two, which is convenient for users to reuse all pins in smart home projects. Not only can the pins be connected through the pin header part, but also the terminal part can be expanded to lead out the same pins. Just select them according to your purpose. ★ Mini PCB Breadboard ★ An independent power row hole is led out at the front end of the PCB board. The required fixed components can be directly welded to facilitate circuit design. ★ Double-Layer PCB ★ The expansion board is a double-layer board. One pin is wired on both sides. Therefore, the circuit is stable and highly reliable, and there will be no poor circuit contact and unstable signal transmission. ★ Complete Parts ★ This kit contains enough parts, such as customized PCB board, screw terminals, pin headers. You just need to solder them together.

A good alternative to a breadboard

Many ESP8266 projects involve many external components. Here you have a choice of traditional pin headers like on a regular breadboard, or you can use screw terminals to connect bare wires if required. I'm not sure about the usefulness of a "mini PCB" breadboard as it requires soldering components. I suppose you could use this as a final setup, with the idea that the ESP8266 has sockets and can therefore be replaced, but as a prototype board, solder connections are counterproductive. Anyway it…
