Worked great to knock out a set of rusty exhaust pipe studs

These bits worked great to knock out a couple of rusty exhaust pipe studs with my Harbor Freight Air Impact Hammer. They are strong enough and heavy enough to solve this old machine problem.

Suitable for both quick release and spring hammers

So far so good. I didn't use the spring that came with it because I have a quick connector. They fit my two percussion hammers, a cheap spring-loaded Hf and an Ingersol-Rand. The difference between the two hammers is indescribable.

Pros
  • power tools
Cons
  • fragile

Excellent quality, holds up well

I mostly use the long drill from this set and it has held up well for a few months now. I've knocked off a lot of frozen hubs with a fairly powerful Matco air hammer and the tip hasn't sheared off yet. I've cut many of these that I've paid a lot more for from a tool cart with Matco and Snap On and this one lasts as well or better as they rarely last more than a few months in the shop.

Cons
  • Don't remember
