Great for long trips

I took this backpack on a 4 month trip to Southeast Asia and Europe and loved it. It's lightweight and combined with the use of packing cubes easily accommodates anything I might need in those 4 months with plenty of room. I've used it as hand luggage for most flights I've boarded, although I think it would be too big for some of the budget airlines in Europe. I love the top/frontloading feature which packs and unpacks very easily in just a few minutes. The top pocket is large and can hold many

Great for travelers (not really backpackers)

I'm in love with this backpack. If you are traveling, this bag is for you! It's the perfect size to wear. There are plenty of pockets and places for all your essentials. But the best thing is the U-shaped zipper in the main compartment. This allows me to access everything in my bag without taking anything out. The only thing I would change about this bag is the zipper as you can't put locks on the bag (the zipper has a strap, not a metal pull, so any lock you put on this bag can easily be cut)…

He comes back good for outdoor activities

I'll try again but he'll probably be back soon. It seems to be solidly built, but: 1. Doesn't seem to fit: The top front strap is too small and too high, but I'm trying to adjust it. And I'm not a very tall person.2. Back hurts: There is simply no pillow! If you look at it before you put it on it's there, but when you put it on it seems to disappear, especially when you move the waist belt. The design is most likely to blame: The polylamellar "inner frame" protrudes too far down under the thin…

32 days of hiking in Europe and these backpacks were perfect

Great backpack for travel. We are four. Two parents, two teenagers, all received identical backpacks and traveled across Europe for 32 days. Light and comfortable and more than enough space to carry all our stuff. It is very convenient that you can access the entire bag. You don't have to shoot everything like a top loading pack. The outer compartments were big enough to hold extra shoes as well as a guidebook or tablet. Pros: Very well made and durable. Fits in luggage racks on airplanes…

Well designed, a good choice for long trips.

Only used this bag for one trip but was in East Africa for 3 months, 3000 miles on the motorbike so I think I got a chance to test it. I switched from a large drawstring bag to this bag and regret not switching sooner. The Redwing has held up well to all the abuse I've put it through and is showing no signs of wear at all. The design is very chic - I traveled with 2 document folders, an 11" laptop, 3 packing cubes of clothing (2 pants, 7 t-shirts, 4 button-down shirts, a long wool t-shirt and…

Great bag for its price. Looks better than Farpoint IMHO.

First off, I picked this case purely for the cost and looks compared to the Osprey Farpoint. Just got back from a 2 week trip to Asia and this bag is a champion. I have taken it as hand luggage, baby bag, tote bag and travel bag. bags for organization) and I will rock this bag or my North Face Surge bag every day before I pick up my wife's Skip Bop bag. Shopping Bag: Holds a lot of things and the chest and waist straps make it very comfortable to carry. : Again, it's a bit heavy due to the…

Ideal for international travel

I have just returned home from 26 days in Europe with this backpack. It was a world champion! It held up so well and seemed to have room for everything. Outside pockets are ideal for keeping things tidy. High quality material, strong zippers. Looking at these bags in store, I was more drawn to the fabric of the 2013 version than the newer fabric of the updated Keltys. It just felt more solid and durable, and I liked that the entire bag was black to blend in with it a little better. As a 5ft 8in
