Quality Replacement Vacuum Belt 20-5275 for Kenmore 116. Models (5 Pack) Review

5 belts at a great price. Bagless, filters and belts are important. Both will eventually need to be replaced, so the more straps the better! Be solid! Time will tell, but I have 4 more!

Bought 5 packs a few months ago. The straps work very well in carpet mode. If I switch to bare floor mode, they break within minutes of use. One lasted no more than 15 minutes. Time to try something different.

Good straps but expect occasional replacement as they are not as durable as the original Pan-UB straps which are hard to find these days are also subject to greater stretching, so it is recommended to replace every 3 months to maintain cleaning efficiency.

I made sure to check the model number of my vacuum before ordering these belts. They arrived in a sealed plastic bag and appeared to be made from a new rubber material. It was easy to install and now the vacuum cleaner works perfectly. Belts appear to be of decent quality. As for durability, time will tell.

Will not fit all Kenmore Model 116 Canister Vacuums. Some model 116 vacuums use a narrower timing belt for the gear drive. This is Kenmore Canister CB-1 Timing Belt 20-5285; So make sure you get the right part. These straps appear to be good but do not fit my Kenmore 116 Canister Vacuum.

Labeled UB8 - as shown. EXACTLY followed the photos from the instruction manual. The first TWO broke, the motor shaft burned out. Researched. My model is 116-39512990, requires KC28SCZPZ000 (4369591). Further research revealed that the UB8 is a Panasonic belt. 4369591 (KC28SCZPZ000) is UB1, also called 20-5275 and 20-5240. Backordered from Canmore. I will try the THIRD belt from my original order and when my new order arrives I will try one of these. I will edit this review at this point.

My model 119's vacuum belt broke every time I vacuumed it and smelled like burnt rubber. Not to mention it takes 15 minutes to vacuum my living room compared to 5 minutes before. In addition, he collected next to nothing even in "High Sog" mode. I was frustrated that the suction wasn't that good and the noise was starting to increase. That's when I searched google and found them at a good price and they came quicker than I expected, took me 5 minutes to install. My vacuum cleaner now works much
