this shampoo should be moisturizing safe for treated hair. When I used it I tried to take care of my permanent hair. After the second wash, I noticed my curls becoming flat. Perm has been removed. Do not use this shampoo on permed or colored hair as it may wash it out. This is good for thick, healthy hair that needs a good cleanse with hair products and oils. Also, it has a very strong chemical smell, unpleasant. I'm stuck now with this big bottle that I can't use. Pooh.

I agree with other reviewers who smell something wrong. I drank a few bottles of it and wondered if the formula had just changed. Doesn't seem as rich in consistency or effective on my very dry curly hair. This week I decided to pay full price for a bottle I bought at a makeup store and the improvement in my hair condition is noticeable after just two uses. I will no longer order from Amazon.

Haven't used the product yet but when it arrived both caps were loose and leaking. It also looks like it was filled with a different brand of shampoo because it was dry under the cap and smelled completely different than the conditioner. Never bought new shampoos with loose caps. I'm not sure if it's real, but I don't think so.

I have been using this shampoo for many years, I buy it locally. This time I ordered from Revain. It's definitely not the same product. It is usually a thicker pearly consistency. I've been using Kenra shampoo and conditioner for a long time. This last bottle of conditioner I ordered pours out like skim milk! Plus, it doesn't even smell like it used to. In fact, there is no "no conditioning" in it. Maybe the price is due to a poor quality product as it was quite cheap compared to my previous purchases. I could send it back but it's just not worth the hassle of waiting in line for a refund from UPS. So buyers beware! I will look for another product to purchase.
