These lamps were very easy to assemble - quite durable (better than I hoped) and look great in my living room. I think they would go well with any traditional or transitional decor.

When we replaced our old lightbulbs with these, I wondered why I had to put up with the old ones for so long. They make a lot more light and it's so nice to have a chain to turn them on and off. And they look good. Very happy with the purchase and the transaction.

LOVE these lamps. Our house doesn't have overhead lights in the main rooms so we really wanted lamps with 2 bulbs each and they are perfect. They give a lot of light. They were also very easy to assemble. We were so happy with our first set that we immediately bought another set for our living room!

This is a decent set of clean modern light sets. However, the tension chains are very sticky and not smooth enough to control the lights, and one of the tension chain mechanisms got stuck on me and broke after a few years. If you like the look they're worth getting, but I'm deducting a star due to issues with the pull chains.

I love these lamps. I was looking for a style of lanyard that is no longer easy to find. They are stylish and neutral so they will complement almost any decor. I've been using table lamps in my bedroom and while aesthetically a bit large for a bedside table they actually have a small enough base so they don't take up much space and I like not to fiddle with the light switch when it's dark!

First let me say that we really liked the style of the lamps; and although the shades are NOT white as described by the company (they are in fact beige, meaning we have to buy replacement shades immediately to have white shades), individual parts have been offset drilled and/or bent so that the lamps are not straight when assembled. This lamp set was one of the first items I bought for my new home. back in June 2007. Now more than 7 years later these lamps are still with us and I still love them.
