Grainy screen view

Overall I'm happy with the product as I originally ordered one without the clips and ended up sticking it to the screen. This product has clips that go around the frame of the monitor and I don't have any tape. My only complaint is that my screen looks very grainy like it's completely dirty. I don't like it but will look into it since I spent $95 on this product.

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Long wait

I love the easy on/off design and the nice narrow viewing angle.

. This allows me to be alone when needed, but turns off when I need to look at the screen with others. The screen is dimmer and has a narrower viewing angle than the similarly sized Akamai screen protector I've used before. I suspect this screen has the narrowest possible viewing angle - if I move my head about 1/3 to the left of center, the rightmost screen starts to dim a bit. It's best to look straight ahead. The benefit, however, is that people standing to the side of the screen won't be…

Pros
  • . Robust construction.
Cons
  • . No car.

Screen adjusted too far

If you are just starting to look for privacy screens, I want to warn you. Not every privacy screen fits all monitors. It's the best built I could find for the money, but it was just a long way from the monitor screen to be usable. This gave the user a headache, now I'm not sure if the headache was due to how far back the screen moved or the density of the shading, but it was still unusable. However, it is well built and puffy, hence the second star.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not suitable for privacy screen

I've been using the 3M screen for 4 years and didn't realize how well it worked until I started using this Kensington privacy screen. To prevent anyone from seeing my screen I have to practically turn the monitor sideways and the more I turn the monitor the more glare I get. I've tried taping off the corners with tape but it doesn't work. It attaches very well to the monitor, but that's about it.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Functionality

Unfortunately, you can buy another LCD monitor for.

Doesn't work as it should FOR SUCH EXPENSIVE GOODS! Unfortunately, for the price of this item, you could buy another LCD monitor. The adjustable fit is nice and makes installation easy, but my goodness the price of this thing is ridiculous.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Concerned

Looks nice/professional at reception.

I really like that this screen has no latch on the bracket and can be easily removed. Also covers the entire screen. I've found that some sticks have small areas in the corner where the screen is displayed, although this makes it difficult to click the icons at the top of the page.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Will write later

Easy to put on and take off

Before, I had a privacy screen that had to be glued to the screen. This made it difficult when I had to show people something on my screen and I had to take it away. It works great because you just put it on and take it off when you need it. It's a small screen that wobbles a bit at the bottom so I used a bit of glue to keep it in place and as close to the screen as possible as it doesn't sit flat on the real screen if you have a bit of space in between have frame and screen.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Easy to install and replace, but not as private as you'd like.

This looks a lot like adjustability and is easy to remove and reinstall. However, this is more of a screen dimmer than a true privacy screen. The best ones make your screen difficult to read unless someone is directly behind you. They seem to have a pretty wide angle where you can still see the screen clearly. For the price they are not that bad. But if you want REAL privacy, you can check out some of the others.

Great tool for the office

I'm in a normal break room, which means several people with several computers doing several things in a small space. It is not uncommon for colleagues to become curious and often try to see what you see or read on YouTube and then happily comment. No one cares what you see/read/browse the internet on your PC. Save it with this gadget! The screen itself is nice and big, perfect if you have a larger monitor, but if you have a 22-inch monitor like mine that doesn't have bezels flush with the…
