Kennsington vs Fellowes

I sent it back thinking it was poor quality. Instead I bought a Fellowes 19c. This is a very high quality car. He also weighs about 12 pounds. more than the Kennsington I attribute to a better engine

Great shredder for the price

Bought this shredder for my small business. It does exactly what I wanted. It's compact and fits easily next to my desk. The noise level isn't as bad as others I've had. I like that there is an on/off button on the back. (Security) Holds 10 pages which is fine with me.

Yes, it shreds cardboard

Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I bought this to shred cardboard (technically it's not for that) and it works very well. Sometimes this is somewhat secured by the thicker cardboard. However, it is very easy to unlock. I use shredded cardboard for composting and after shredding it in the shredder it was the perfect size!

Save your money! for shredders

It's difficult to get the touchpad to work properly. Turn on the shredder and touch the "control panel" several times before it shreds the paper. The other touch command keys do nothing when you press them. I would not recommend buying this shredder. I will replace this chopper. Tip: DO NOT BUY THIS GRINDER that doesn't work and isn't worth the money. It's HUM!

Disappointment! in other office equipment

Very disappointed. I spent more money on the purchase because of Revain's high rating. The windshield is so dark I can't see how full it is. It is very difficult to work. Directions are very poor, as is troubleshooting. I have had much better cars and would like to read reviews as usual rather than taking the Revain review as the best choice. piss off! I don't recommend it

Smaller than expected and cannot handle 10 sheets

This Kensington shredder is a little smaller than expected but very durable. I use it in my home office to destroy all personally identifiable information and outdated documents from work production. One of the reasons I chose this one was that it claims to be able to feed 10 sheets at a time. Maybe it works, but after inserting 5 sheets noticeably problems arose. The indent fits the 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of paper almost exactly, so you have to be within the mark when you insert it, which means Iโ€ฆ

Especially good for shredding documents from IRS

I love shredding documents; I find it very pleasant. If it's paper, I'll tear it up. These include bad references, overdue bills, garbage collection violations and a menu from the Italian restaurant next door. And believe me, this paper shredder gets the job done with relative ease. It shreds up to 5-7 pages with no sign of warping and has no issues with staples and small metal clips. I can say that the teeth are quite powerful and strong; Anyway, I just wish I had more to shred.PROS:1. Goodโ€ฆ
