I have the amp mounted in my saddlebag and spend hours cranking it up to full volume. Model 1814 installed next to Model 1824BT. This is a bridged 2 x 4 ohm PSM3. It's getting really warm, I measured 138 degrees Fahrenheit with an infrared thermometer after 1 hour of driving between 80% and 100% volume. Aside from the heat, it sounds great. EDIT: I installed a thicker power wire and ground wire and it no longer overheats, reaching maybe 98 degrees.

I'm not sure what I was expecting but when I opened the packaging and the amp fit in my hand I had a little laugh. Small size made it easy to install, could fit anywhere. The connecting wires were long enough, but I really wish they were larger than AWG. Power/ground only 16 AWG, speaker wire 20 AWG. and with a wire harness, it's not an easy replacement for a larger wire. so let's see. I bought this to power 2 6x9 kickers. I'm my disguise just wasn't loud enough with just my head unit pushing it. The RMS of this amp when connected to 2 channels is exactly the maximum RMS of these speakers so I figured that would work. I was even afraid it might be too much. I've never been one of those people who feed the speakers at the maximum recommended power. Excellent amplifier. Just installed and what a difference, but in a few months we'll see how warm it gets after a little nudge. **UPDATE** from 04/26/21. The amp was built in, but my exhaust was too loud. I added an extra amp to the rear 6x9 speakers and left that amp on the 2 front 6x5 speakers. Amazing little amp. Bought for the aftermarket 10.4" screen in my 2013 Ram 1500. The original wiring harness that came with the aftermarket radio was wired for a single cab (2 speakers total) and I have a crew cab.
