Not reflective at all. I wanted to add this to my dog's collar. It won't help or provide the protection I was hoping for. I don't know how any company thinks it's a good idea to advertise reflectors when they know people will be using them for safety reasons. Then it offers no safety and puts people in danger. Blessed ignorance of tort.

I've used it as a backing thread for several hats I've knitted this winter. It reflects well over a fairly long distance at night. It's also not very noticeable during the day. Those two qualities came in handy when my five year old asked for a Batman hat. I wasn't thrilled with the all black hat. It made his dream come true and let me know the drivers would find out about him.

Totally non-reflective, torn twice on my machine when trying to embroider a small design. And they are NOT REFLECTIVE! . Anyway, it's just an extra gray thread that's rarely used or a backup when the gray thread runs out. Don't buy, you'd better search Alibaba for reflective thread suppliers, or just buy small ones from Wonderful. .ca is a bit expensive but at least it is reflected and your money is not wasted.

I really like this theme. It's thin enough to use in my sewing machine but strong enough not to break. He hasn't snapped yet! I use it along with the reflective material and piping I bought to add reflective detailing to my husband's running and riding gear for night time visibility.
