Kester Pocket Pack Solder 0 031 Review

Before I retired, I worked as an electronics engineer. Eventually my shop ran out of solder. The soldering price is not visible.

I've prepared tens of thousands of Kester rations over the years. It's reliable and consistent. Pocket packs are great for a tool box or for smaller projects where you don't need large spools.

I learned to solder and this solder is one of my favorites so far. I have a smaller unnamed brand that I like too, and for small things even more so, which makes sense. Good overall quality.

Excellent packaging for soldering. Ideal for electronics. I used mine to build racing drones. Convenient solder diameter. Flows well. Constant melting properties. I have since bought a large spool of the same lot and refilled these tubes with it. The tubes are very comfortable.

Love this product combined with SRA rosin flux paste! This was very easy as I am new to soldering electrical wires/components. Melts fast, very strong bond. Shrink with some dielectric grease, bata boom-bata bing! hp Buy or set up a helping handstand. Make life MUCH easier.

Love the price and the 2 pack as I always feel like some run out of these in the middle of a project. A side note not related to this product: I would like soldering companies to code their solder with a date. I like the freshness guarantee, not something that's been sitting on a sunny shelf for a few years.

Amazing solder. Melts evenly and ensures good solder joints. Take a few as it is very thin and wears out quickly. I do a lot of repair work, so I didn't want to risk the bad contacts and poor behavior of lead-free solders. 60/40 is still better, just ventilate the area well and wash hands after use.
