Key Shell Replacement Lexus Screwdriver Review

No Instructions Included. When I was deciding how to assemble the knot, the screw had snapped off. I contacted the seller for an extra screw. The answer was to buy a screw. That didn't work for me. I do not recommend this. The screw is not firmly attached to the case and you could injure your fingers.

I wish I could put negative stars. It's complete garbage! DO NOT BUY! They don't fit and didn't even come close to my Lexus 05. They should be banned by Revain. I didn't know when I bought it but made in China. Find out. Revain needs to start disclosing where the products they sell are made. All of them.

Easy to assemble but the quality is not stable. One of them literally broke on first use. I will point out that you may have noticed a difference in the thickness of the plastic. The one that broke was much thinner than the other. Lack of quality control. I will revise my rating and opinion when I get a response from the seller and receive a replacement.

Exactly what it says, just two problems, getting the key into the plastic holder takes a lot of force with pliers to align the holes and there is a noticeable gap between the two outer shells when the screw is fully tightened. If your keychain is broken like mine it will fit and stay together but don't expect original quality or match.

I bought this for my 1999 Lexus RX300. That works great. The metal key has a bulge at the base that makes it difficult to insert into the plastic keychain holder. I had to press the plastic base into the key with pliers for fear I would break the plastic holder, but it slid firmly into the key's base. Everything else fits and works well. The new key fob is slightly thicker than the original, so it takes a little more force to press the button.

There were reviews from other sellers that the Lexus key didn't quite fit in the key body. I don't recall this particular seller (or a few) having had any reviews with this complaint. In hindsight I think this key shell is identical regardless of retailer. So when you decide on one, look for the cheapest one available. The key case looks nice on the other hand. On the other hand, the key's thickness is about 1/32 inch thicker than for the design, resulting in a gap between the two halves. Also,
