Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

With its positives being: Very pleasant and obvious tactile triggers that are not noisy. Convenient for day-to-day work but comes with several drawbacks: If there was a clave with a namlok in the past, then you will have to relearn for a while, or you can take a different keychron model for this.

The right product for me, the price suited me.

It was interesting to understand why many people love mechanics, despite the fact that there are good membranes (mx keys, for example), and why these extra millimeters of key travel; however, in the end, the feeling of typing is completely different, and the mechanics should be considered for purchase if you have to print quite frequently. Various advantages: The keyboard with the red switches has a very light keystroke, and the sound is nice and not particularly loud (although it could be…

Take on brown (linear) switches, mechanics. Prior to that, I used a cheap keyboard with blue keys. It took me a few days to get used to it because there isn't the usual click; instead, the sound is made when the keycap bumps into the case. The printing is now better, faster, and less prone to mistakes. Additionally, it is cozy to play; you won't speak. It became less effective to hammer on the ears of fellow dissidents. It hasn't been very helpful thus far, however I did use it on Bluetooth…

First keyboard that meets all requirements in 4 months

My keyboard journey is over. for now, until I decide to shell out another $200 for a Steel Pro Series omnidirectional switch keyboard. This is one of the best keyboards I've had for the money. It's in a class of its own alongside my Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard, as it costs $100 less than my already top-of-the-line Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard for endgame gaming. This K8 has an inverted N key, meaning it registers over 10 fingers and can keep up with the fastest typist. This keyboard is also…

Wired/wireless and near perfect

Pros: - Works great with Linux - Mac/Standard keyboard layout support - Wired for gaming and extreme use - Wireless for casual gaming or chair programming - never had a dead battery. It seems to shut itself down gracefully and sleep for a bit while idling. - Hotkey replacement. I've only worn out 1 mechanical key witch in my life, but at least I can use it to buy a small set of key witches instead of replacing the keyboard with a single switch (or if you want to make a mix of switches…

Great keyboard at a great price If you want a mechanical board you can easily get a Ducky Oh you want wireless well there's plenty to choose from. Oh, you need discrete function keys and ten buttons, man, you're making it really hard, but Logitech and IQuinex make a nice board. Oh, you don't want to spend more than $200, Keychron makes a board that ranks very high on the ratings list, you can choose between Gateron or optical, and it even has a hot-swappable model. This keyboard is awesome, the

I have to say that this keyboard has everything I like. Physical on/off Bluetooth button. Can be used on Windows MAC or Android. You have the option to use almost any mechanical switch you can think of in this keyboard. If you're considering swapping switches, there are a few things to keep in mind. When removing old switches, use the gentle rocking method with some upward force. When pulling up, try not to use your whole arm, just use your wrist so the movements are small. When adding…

Very good keyboard especially if you are into modding

Keychron K8 is a very good keyboard, almost perfect. The only problem I have is that there aren't any more options for the switch type. I wish there were Kailh and Cherry MX variants, not just the Gateron. Another issue is that they should have a PBT lid option for more durable lids. Otherwise, this keyboard is near perfect as it's hot-swappable and you can just swap out the keycaps. It has amazing build quality, at least for my aluminum version. The keycaps are very good, not too much RGB…

Stopped working on the second day

I just got this yesterday and my first impressions were great. It connected to my computer right away and I love the feeling when I type. It's a bit high, but that's easily remedied with a wrist rest. But today (second day of ownership) I used it and went outside for 10 minutes. When I went back, the backlight/RGB for the keyboard was off, so I just thought it was in sleep mode. I pressed a few keys to see if he would wake up, but nothing happened. I turned off the keyboard and put it back into

Main Cons: Fonts/Legends are too small

Video editors, Photoshop users, recording studios and other users who need frequent keyboard access should look elsewhere for a backlit mechanical keyboard for Mac. Unfortunately, there aren't many options, and you may have to stick with Apple's thin non-backlit keyboard or Logitech's slim backlit optical MX keys for Macs. The Keychron K8 shows promise, but failed to provide a mechanical solution to Apple's aversion to mechanical keyboards. At that price, he was hoping to return to a mechanical

Great keyboard with some compromises

I really enjoy using this keyboard. I have the version with blue switches. Every key press is pleasantly tactile and audible. It replaces the full-size Corsair keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches. The reason I made the switch is to position my Wacom Intuous tablet which I use as a mouse pad (best ever) and still free up desktop space. The switch to the K8 was a success on both counts. However, there are some things I definitely don't like. The Keychron doesn't have a palm rest and is a…

Battery life claims are false

I've had several wireless keyboards, some mechanical, and all had problems. This is my favorite so far. I got it for Christmas 2020 and have had it for a few months now. I have not experienced long battery life at all. I'm a writer so I type a lot, sometimes many hours a day, and that's one of the main reasons I bought this knowledge base. I still have to plug it in and charge it about once a week. Yes I know. First world problems ;) NO, I don't use the backlight, almost never, usually only…
