What key! in spare parts

This is the third one I'm buying from the same supplier. The delivery was 10 days earlier than announced. quality key! Works 100%. All buttons work as they should. Lock, unlock, windows and sunroof. panic button too. This time there was no BMW badge.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Great price

Working properly

This is not a typical Chinese item. This one is strong. well built and just works. if programmed well, the key will have all the functions of the oem key. INCLUDING MOVABLE WINDOWS AND SUNROOF. ONE BUTTON IS NOT USED and that is the panic button which was not on the diamond key.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good spare parts key update

Works for my BMW E46, lock programming was ok as was any 3 button diamond key. Transponder programmed with AK90. a bit of pain. The only thing is that the panic button doesn't work on E46 cars. Still a good remote, will have to see how well it holds up over time.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Works great on a 2005 330i

This key is amazing. It's a really strong feeling. The flip button is great. Feels great in hand. Not too heavy or big. Feels great in your pocket. Programming worked with eBay AK90 programmer. The chip is outside the key, so installation is required. On the back of the key is a small notch (circled in red) that can be opened for battery replacement/chip insertion. Cut the key from a local locksmith.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Nice, strong, no hassle with key fob replacement.

Can't comment on the durability yet but wow this is a great looking keychain with amazing quality. Feels solid in hand and actually has watertight seals, which is not the norm with these aftermarket wrenches. Keyless entry synchronization was perfect on the pre-facelift e46 3-series, e39 5-series and e60 5-series. I'll update the durability and ignition specs later. Will definitely be buying more for future builds.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent quality but arrived incomplete.

I am very impressed with the quality of my key. It has a pleasant weight and is very well made. All buttons work as they should, the car starts without any problems. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my key was delivered without a transponder. Luckily I had a spare transponder to use. It is important to note that you must program the EWS module using a programmer such as the AK90 or similar in order for the key to start the car.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Negative present

This is for a 2002 BMW 330ci diamond key

There were problems programming the remote functions. Follow the instructions provided. Writes: insert the key and turn the ignition to position 1, then pull it out for 5 seconds, then press and hold the unlock button, then press the lock button three times. Didn't work with the new remote control. I accidentally pressed the lock/center button 4 times instead of 3 while holding the unlock and it programmed the new Keyecu. If your old remote control loses its function, repeat the programming for

Pros
  • This is a complete key with remote/electronics/transponder chips/battery
Cons
  • Difficult to tell

Does not control all functions BMW factory setting

The key, when cut and programmed, actually starts the car as the key is supposed to. He locks and unlocks doors, so nothing to brag about. What disappointed me is that this key does not enable any of the "Convenience Open/Access" features that the standard Diamond EWS key has. So if you want your remote to roll down the window/open the sunroof/lower the convertible top like your factory key did, don't get that key. It also won't access those features with a physical door lock like a factory key

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Dear

The keys are easy to hold. A little big. Broken lock with key

I bought two of these on a 2006 E53. Cut them down at $35 apiece, but they took some time to program - they sat out a few months. After getting the hardware and programming it, I started using a key as my master key. I rated the price-performance ratio as bad because the locking of the blade failed after about 2 months. Now the key blade is always extended. So I switched to another. Not very promising if they only last a few months before breaking. The price of a key and a cut adds up very…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Great key if you're willing to make the effort!

In general, the product itself has an excellent build quality in relation to the value for money. It feels solid, almost to the same extent as an OEM unit. My order arrived exactly as described: a key with a pre-installed battery and a transponder that you have to install yourself. As an added touch I took the OEM BMW key badge as it is not included. Installing the transponder is a bit tricky as there are no instructions and you have to disassemble the entire device to figure out where it goes.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
