Works best in interior

My locksmith doubted the authenticity (said those cheap Chinese copies only work sometimes) but I think I was lucky because he was able to program mine on his machine and it works great.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Appearance

Worth the price - keyless entry systems

Luckily my old keyless entry chip was fine so I just replaced it with a new case and now it works great. Thanks to a previous reviewer who gave me a tip. I'll insert a new chip later.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Vanish

You have to program it

nice keychain. Warning: you CANNOT program them yourself like most other domestic manufacturers. Ace Hardware offers programming for $150. Do NOT offer OBD2 programmers for these vehicles

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • i will add later

Doesn't always work properly

This works but sometimes doesn't work properly. I had to pay the dealer $50 to have it programmed into my car and if I had known beforehand that it didn't always work properly I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Worked great after programming

Worked great. I had to go to a locksmith to have it programmed because my specific car cannot be programmed without a specific car. I have a Hyundai Sonata 2009. The previous models could be programmed by yourself. This particular year and model years thereafter are not. This must be programmed by a professional.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • So far so good

PERFECT! (If you just need new buttons/case)

Old key fob on the left, new key fob on the right. As you can see the buttons on my old keychain are very worn. I ordered a new key fob mainly because of the case and the buttons. I could just open the old one and take out the circuit board to use in the new key fob. It worked GREAT! I didn't need to program the remote as I was using an OLD circuit board.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • A bit of variety

Works OK on keyless entry systems

This is the second review I'm giving about this keyless remote. I'm not sure what happened to my first review. The locksmith programmed it for $20. The remote control is weak, the front door only opens at close range. The rear doors, which should open with the 2nd press of the open button, are difficult to open. I have to press many times while standing next to the car to open it. All in all, it cost me $40 to buy + program, which is a lot less than getting a standard remote. So it works well…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
