Not happy with the cheap chrome part. Sure, it's the same as the original, but that makes it look worn and ugly. Mine is looking a little rough after a few months, but the price is low enough that I can't hit it too hard. Otherwise the quality is good and close to the OEM.

We had two remotes, one worked and one didn't. Then the one that worked stopped working and we couldn't even start the car! I ordered two of these and swapped the internals and wow they work great! like new again. I ordered silicone cases to protect them and overall I think this is a great product. It's been about a month now and nothing but a good remote interaction!

I needed a new key fob for my Ford Edge as the original metal parts broke off. A new one would be very expensive so I decided to give it a try. Keyrings look nice in the box, but they don't match. It was very difficult to get them to stay together, they got caught doing different things and they threw everything out. I ended up just using rubber inserts with metal parts attached to my old key. In general, I got what I needed, but I would like to use the entire assembly.

However, I can only give a 4 star rating. When replacing the necessary parts to make it work with your vehicle, you must remember that there are parts that are required for a new fob to work. Not only the main parts, but also small metal contactors to make the batteries work with the keychain. New keyfobs do not come with these contactors, you must take them out of the old keyfob and make sure they fit the new keyfob and actually make contact. I didn't know these things existed until I went to O'Reillys to have my keys replaced because the buttons were completely worn out.
