$200 saved vs. factory on a 2015 F250

$40 key and $3.50 to have a locksmith cut it. The dealer wanted $250. Save yourself the hassle and go to your local locksmith for cutting. I spent a week cutting it at kiosks, Lowes, Home Depot, ACE, etc. Searched for a week, I was too lazy not to do anything with the key. Dubbed by myself, following the instructions in the owner's manual. Use the online instructions to program the 4 button transmitter. 5 minutes at the locksmith 3 minutes to sync 5 minutes to program (I turned the key OFF tooโ€ฆ

Great replacement after sale and cheaper than the dealer.

This aftermarket fob works great as a remote fob and key after two-step programming. Just read and follow the programming instructions. I ended up buying three (3); two as keychains and keys and the third just as a remote control for my bag. I cut off the key to make the device smaller and less pocketable for remote open/close and remote start. They work very well and cost a lot less money than going to a dealer and buying them. The cost for the block and programming from the dealer wasโ€ฆ

Excellent key and good value

Well today I received the key. Took it to Walmart and they cut it for free along with a Ford OEM key for free. Brought her home and followed Ford's instructions for key programming. Ford key programmed immediately. The Keyless2Go key is only programmed to start my truck. Went on the website as per the document that came with the key. There are two sets of programming instructions for my truck. One set is the same as the Fords. Another for remote programming is another. I tried and did it eightโ€ฆ

Easy and inexpensive

We have a 2012 Ford F-150 Latiat and we live in a big city in Arizona. The dealer charged over $200 for this operation. We both have original keys. Needed new keys as the remote unlock function button on both of our key fobs was worn out. We bought one from Revain to test. It was so easy and cheap. Lowe's and Home Depot were NOT able to shorten the key. Ace Hardware did and only took $1. yes 1 dollar The key alone would lock the door but not unlock it. Goed through the steps stated on theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Nothing here

Unmatched. It's a fraction of the cost of a Ford key and it works. It can be cut by a local locksmith and programmed with two sets of directions. One for button programming and one for chip programming were pretty easy. The quality seems good too. Matches the original Ford key or could be better. Update: These keys are a worthy replacement. They do what they have to. The only downside I have is that they don't last very long before the knobs wear out. I get about 1 year of use from them beforeโ€ฆ
