Ford Interior Accessory Keyfobs

I called my local Ford dealer to inquire about the cost of a new key fob for a car I just bought. I was told it would be $60 to $80 per fob plus programming costs. I bought them thinking I'd lose less than $10 if they didn't work, and if they did I'd only save myself a few hundred dollars. I read a few reviews before purchasing and they were mostly good. I went online to look up how to program the fobs before getting them and when they arrived in the mail (a few days early!) I followed the…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Worked perfectly Expedition 2005

The programming steps will remove your old remotes unless you read them by following some removal instructions. I had to replace a remote control for our 2005 Expedition. I bought 2 packs to increase the chances of a working unit. I chose one and followed the programming steps. It worked fine, but my wife's factory remote was disabled. So I went through the programming steps again and added a new remote and my wife's factory remote. Now both work perfectly and the woman took the new remote…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Perfect! Fits Anti-Theft

My husband's Mustang remote control broke a few months ago and when he called Ford to inquire about a replacement he quickly realized it was an arm and a leg for needed a new one so he decided to go through and just use his key. Such a pain! His car is his pride and joy and I was dying to give him something to replace the broken remote control and here it is! For a small price, this is a great replacement! Works great and programming was a breeze! The process is very simple and takes less than…

  • Heavy Duty Construction

After 3 hours I finally have a working remote control (2005 Ford Mustang)

I went to the nearest Ford dealer after being advised to do so over the phone. Upon arrival they pretended to be stupid and wondered who I was talking to. Besides that; They didn't have any key fobs and asked if I would like to order one for $60 + tax. If they had said $10 I would still have declined because they wasted my time. In Advance Auto where they sometimes install what they sell. Their fee was $52.95 + tax and no programs were offered. No thank you. After receiving this order I found…

Pros
  • Hands free kit
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Easy to program. Great price

Works great. Programmed both at the same time. Remember that you will also need to reprogram your original remote as programming reprograms it (and vice versa). The exact method of programming the remotes should be in your owner's manual (in my case indexed under "locks"). Here is the method I used to program both and the original remote for a car (Ford): 0. Unlock the car with the original remote! 1. Remove the original remote from the keychain (make sure you can identify it) 2. Place all…
