Works well for the price

Works after locksmith programming for 2006 Chevrolet Uplander. Cons: The graphics on the keys wear out fairly quickly.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Available in black only

Having a bad remote control is the way to go.

If your remote control is broken, buy a new one, this product is EXCELLENT, and another secret dealer in my town programmed it for free.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Quality

Better buy here at Keyless Entry Systems

We saved a lot of money buying it here and then taking it to the dealer to sync to our car. We bought them for two for $25. Then $50 at the dealer to connect to the car. If we buy direct from retailer, we would pay 150$ for 1 remote control and another 50$ for connection.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

The panic button is very sensitive

This is a replacement for a 12 year old key fob for my Chevy Uplander. Programming was easy ($75 from a locksmith for 2). The panic button works all the time, even with the lightest touch of the button. It is extremely embarrassing but mostly embarrassing in public and has been installed in my garage many times. I would not recommend this product, but I will not pay another $75 for replacement programming.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons

Easy repair of existing remote controls

A great and easy way to repair existing remote controls. Both remotes for my HHR 2009 were worn out. They barely worked and I had to press and hold the button and hope it worked. I changed the batteries but that didn't help at all. It was obvious that the buttons were worn out. So I ordered them and just transferred the control boards from my old ones to the new ones. That way I didn't have to take them to the dealer and pay to have new ones programmed. It was quick and easy and now I like new…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not sure

No more standing in the rain!

My 2011 Chevy HHR key fobs that came with the car when I bought it did not work properly. The lock button works 20% of the time when it's on. With the California rainy season approaching (maybe? I hope!), I wanted to get my key fob fixed so I wouldn't have to stand in the rain trying to lock my car. I was offered to buy a new shell and swap it inside out. When they arrived I opened them up, took out the battery and circuit board, plugged those into my (now old) FOB and all my buttons work…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Exchange available
