Cut it off at the dealer and then program it yourself.

Took the new keys and VIN number to the dealer so they can make a key for the car's VIN number. About $20 for both keys. I programmed the new house keys in about 15 minutes. Print out the instructions from the website and follow them closely with good results. Keys look like original and work well. The range is about 150 feet. They have been in use for about 6 months without any problems. I have bought other keys from this company for my GMC Sierra and they have lasted many years.

  • Absolutely amazing!

He worked, but not without work.

First, I saved about $200 by buying these keys from Revain instead of the dealer. Important Note: You must take these keys to a dealer or locksmith if you only have 1 set. I got an offer from the dealer for $65 to program and cut the keys. 30 minutes after arrival the dealer states that only 1 set works to open the caravan but both start the car. I've noticed that dialpads that don't work feel weird and don't bounce when pressed. I decided to open up a non-working kit and found that the…

It's worth it, but not perfect.

They worked for my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan but instead of pressing the buttons twice to open or unlock the doors you have to press them 3 or 4 times. You also need to be very close to your car as it only has half the range of the original manufacturer's key fob. from a locksmith, and keys and programming from the dealer would have cost me over $200. This option saved over $120, so I can live with the range limitation of having to press the button three times instead of twice.

Worked great - will buy again if needed

I ordered new keys from my local hardware store and then programmed both myself in just a few minutes. All the buttons on the key worked when this was done. The only catch is that you must have two working keys before you can program the new keys yourself. I suggest getting your spare keys working before you lose any of your original keys. Luckily I still had both, but one was badly worn. The characters on my key could not be read and the place where the key ring was attached was broken. My…

The case will break under normal use. Be careful.

Judging by other reviews, the body of these buttons is made of poor quality plastic. The cases appear to crack and fall apart within a few months of normal use. My key actually stayed in my pocket most of the time as it's my wife's work car. Since the listing does not include a warranty period, I emailed the seller through Revain to find out what the warranty is. I got a quick reply that it's only for 90 days. If you are looking for an additional key that is rarely used, this will do. If you…

The key to success is good for interior decoration

These keyrings fully correspond to the description of this company. When I bought my car it only had an original key fob which was worn out. So it was necessary to make a few copies of the key in case it breaks. These keys were programmed and made at my dealership at a reasonable price. If you already have two master keys, you can have the keys made, but you can program the fobs at home. I've read that up to eight keys can be programmed for a car. The best way to ensure these keys will fit your

It works, but the plastic crumbles after a few months.

Works great, much cheaper than dealers or locksmiths. Take it to any key cutter (including hardware stores) and have them cut it. They might tell you they can't because it's a key with a chip, but let them do it anyway. Follow the instructions and you're done! The only problem I had was that the guy I cut got it a bit wrong so it doesn't really work as a key, but I can still use the removed part (just cut the key off ). Update: Had to downgrade to two stars as plastic cases fall apart after…

Get ready to pay

I've been using these keys for about a week now and they work great. The only problem I had was when trying to program the buttons myself. I used to have a copy of the key at a local hardware store, so I had two working keys; However, the provided instructions didn't work. I took it to a locksmith to have it checked. He told me the key I made at the hardware store was a virtual clone of the factory key so the process wouldn't work. He had to call Chrysler/Dodge and get the vehicle's PIN to…
